I had a friend suggest that I tackle political subject matter in my silly pandeiro videos. While I have been hesitant to do that, I am also eager to exercise my right to freedom of speech while I still have it.
I cut a joke I really liked from the opening banter: “Why are we letting men be in charge of our intelligence? Isn’t that kind of an oxymoron?”
(Just kidding. I love men. Nobody on Planet Earth loves men more than me…)
I also cut a part where I mentioned this really brilliant tweet by Representative Maxine Waters: “So Comey told Jeff Sessions he didn’t want to be alone with Trump. Women across the country can relate.”
…and another part where I mentioned the New York Times editorial “Women Say to Comey: Welcome to Our World.”
